IMI Approved Centre Requirements - Important Reminder

As an IMI approved centre, it is essential to have the necessary arrangements and resources for the effective delivery, assessment and quality assurance of IMI qualifications and accreditations.

Maintaining accurate documents, records and data is vital for any IMI approved centre to ensure full compliance with current IMI and regulatory requirements.

As part of our ongoing monitoring, we have recently identified centres who were unable to provide sufficient evidence of staff occupational competence, qualifications, continual professional development (CPD) or standardisation records, meaning the competence of staff involved in the delivery and assessment of IMI qualifications / accreditations could not be fully authenticated.

Please ensure that you retain all staff occupational, assessor / verifier certificates and records of staff CPD and standardisation sessions in line with our requirements.
