From April 2017, the IMI is expanding its membership to include businesses as well as individuals. The first businesses to enjoy the benefits of this new membership category will be our IMI Approved Centres.
We value the relationship we have with you and recognise that your business is critical to the success of the automotive sector. By making IMI Approved Centres business members we will be enhancing the services you receive at no additional cost.
What do centres need to do?
You don’t need to do anything at the moment, we’ll be in touch in the coming weeks with details of how to make the most of your membership as a centre.
What does this mean for my centre?
You will continue to receive all of the benefits of being an IMI Approved Centre including tools and resources, key industry updates and a dedicated customer support team.
In addition to these benefits, from April 2017 you will also be able to access the following benefits;
- The right to vote topics which shape IMI Membership
- Invitation to the Representative Member Assemblies (RMA) held twice a year (UK centres only)
- Digital copy of IMI Magazine (new for all centres)
- Quarterly Centre Update (new for international centres)
We’ll be introducing additional benefits to support our business members throughout the year.
REPRESENTATIVE MEMBER ASSEMBLIES (RMA)
Held twice a year in Spring and Autumn, RMA's are both a platform for feedback and an opportunity for IMI members to gain knowledge to maximise business opportunities and continuing professional development (CPD). These events are free for IMI members to attend in the UK and invitations will be sent out in advance.
