IMI Level 2 Students win 'Dragons Den' style college competition
All students from each department at Buxton and Leek College were given the opportunity to develop a product, along with business plans etc. and deliver it to a panel of judges that consisted of the principal, vice principals and local business owners, in a Dragons Den style competition.
The IMI Level 2 students' winning pitch was a product which is designed to make changing a flat tyre by the side of the road easier. With the investment money from the dragons, the students are joining forces with the College's Engineering department to fabricate a wheel brace, which will be collapsible, easy to use and store inside a vehicle.
