Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) are inviting you to a one-day session delivering a sample of their official course for MOT testers.
What DVSA aim to achieve
DVSA are looking to work with awarding organisations and their training providers to develop and offer a qualification that will measure MOT testers’ competence, skills and knowledge and meet their requirements for continuous professional development.
As a little bit of background, there are currently around 60k active MOT testers performing around 30 million MOTs each year, with 5k new MOT testers per year coming on board.

Please extend this invitation to your colleagues and encourage their attendance - these workshops are arranged by DVSA to give a demonstration of the process and content that is attached to the MOT tester accreditation, to give you a flavour of what is currently being delivered.
DVSA have provided 16 days for you to choose from, at a range of venues, each with 15 places. You can choose the place and day that suits you best using one of these links:

What the day will cover
The day will include a professional view of extracts of the testing manual, a variety of vehicle classes and cover some of the administrative responsibilities of an MOT site manager.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions and explore ideas.
