Joshua Phillip, IMI Level 2 Motor Vehicle student, won the overall Engineering & Motor Vehicle award at Stratford-upon-Avon College's Student Awards Ceremony.
He can be seen with his lecturer Brett Jim and Chief Operating Officer of Stratford-upon-Avon College Lindsey Stewart.
All of Josh's tutors have been impressed by how hard working he is and what a pleasure he is to teach. He goes above and beyond to help all the other students with their work and makes a conscious effort to talk to students who struggle to make friends. He has put 100% into every lesson and has always been polite and respectful to every tutor with whom he has worked.
Josh's lecturer Brett Jim said:
"Josh has been an outstanding student with an excellent attendance and punctuality record. Josh is always eager to help others within his group. Commitment, dedication, and perseverance are among his considerable strengths. Josh has shown natural leadership qualities in his class, and has always been willing to bring the group together, allowing them to achieve their full potential. He is a credit to Stratford-upon-Avon College and we look forward to him progressing to the Level 3 Motor Vehicle programme."
Stratford-upon-Avon College has recently merged with Solihull College & University Centre and is home to excellent facilities, which include fully equipped engineering, electrical and motor vehicle workshops with diagnostics and tyre fitting bays.
